If they had entered the prestigious Google Lunar XPRIZE, but had not become one of the top five finalists – DAYENU.

If they had become one of the top five finalists, but had not tried to inspire a generation of young Israelis to study STEM subjects – DAYENU.

If they had tried to inspire a generation of young Israelis to study STEM subjects, but had not connected to the iCenter and sparked a kvell of global Jewish pride – DAYENU.

If they had connected to the iCenter and sparked a kvell of global Jewish pride, but had not continued to pursue their mission when the XPRIZE ended – DAYENU.

If they had continued to pursue their mission when the XPRIZE ended, but they hadn’t launched the Beresheet spacecraft – DAYENU.

If they had launched the Beresheet spacecraft, but they hadn’t successfully moved it into an orbit around the moon – DAYENU.

If they had successfully moved it into an orbit around the moon, and to be continued… – DAYENU.

At any step along the way, their incredible achievements would have been enough. After all, their spirit and their drive alone could have – and truly have – inspired a generation. But the SpaceIL team went above and beyond anyone’s wildest hopes and dreams. No matter what happens here in these next few fateful days, they have made history. DAYENU.
