CAF Launches Charity Trends Website in UK

The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) has launched a free website, CAF Charity Trends which allows users to explore charity data in a new way. Using data registered charities provide in their Annual Returns to the Charity Commission, it allows users to search for charities through a combination of 17 different criteria, including cause, region or size of charity. It will mean charities, donors, companies, local governments and others interested in charities will now have free access to charity data.

Charity Trends will allow charities to create contextual reports for trustees, donors and stakeholders. Companies will be able to find local charities to support and create ties with or find charities that work in a specific country overseas, while local authorities will be able to find out about the health of their local charity sector.
