Backpacks Donated to Needy N.Y. Area Students

UJA-Federation of New York’s Supplies for Success initiative will donate more than 3,450 backpacks to children in grades K – 12 returning to school this month. The backpacks, assembled by UJA-Federation of New York’s Long Island and UJA-Federation of New York’s Families Division, will be distributed to students through several of UJA-Federation’s beneficiary agencies. The initiative, began 10 years ago in Long Island, has helped thousands of students return to school with the tools they need to succeed.
