Apply Now for JDC’s 2012-2013 Service Corps

New York, February 13, 2012 — The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) is now accepting applications for its 2012-2013 Jewish Service Corps (JSC) through March 15, 2012 at jdc.org/jsc. JSC is a year-long, paid, professional opportunity for recent college graduates and young professionals to travel overseas and play a hands-on role in addressing global Jewish and humanitarian challenges. By engaging in a variety of community-building, educational, cultural, and development-related programs, JSC fellows gain an unparalleled understanding of pressing issues and simultaneously build awareness about their work while in the field and upon their return.

JDC currently has twenty-five JSC fellows serving in 11 countries: Argentina, Ethiopia, China, Germany, India, Israel, Latvia, Russia, Rwanda, Turkey and Ukraine. You can read blog updates from a few of the current JSC Fellows below:
