Applicatons are Open for the COJECO BluePrint Fellowship

image005Applications are now open for the COJECO BluePrint Fellowship 2014-2015 cohort! If you know a Russian-speaking Jewish young adult who would like to create his or her own community project with the support of a grant and a year-long fellowship, please pass on the information!

The COJECO BluePrint Fellowship empowers New York Russian-speaking Jews ages 25-40 with the tools, structure, and resources to explore and express their unique Jewish identity through the creation of individual community projects.

The Fellowship begins with a 3-day retreat and is followed by a series of weeknight workshops over the course of the year, that provide an overview of the Jewish landscape past and present, introduce fellows to prominent community leaders and social activists, and teach skills necessary for implementing a community project. As part of the program, each fellow is paired with two personal project mentors and awarded a grant of up to $5,000 for the implementation of their Jewish community project.
