Announcing: The PresenTense Community Hackathon

Wikimedia hackathonPresenTense Group and The Covenant Foundation are excited to announce a new program offering in North America, The PresenTense Community Hackathon, in celebration of the Covenant Foundation’s upcoming 25th anniversary.

In 2016-17 the Community Hackathon will launch in three mid-size Jewish communities, with plans to expand its reach in future years. The goal of the Community Hackathon is to galvanize a local community in identifying a key challenge around Jewish education and engagement and generating new solutions by training and equipping local leaders. Participating host institutions will receive training, in-kind support and $15,000 in funding to execute the program and seed new ideas.

We are pleased to open a Request for Proposal process, inviting community institutions that meet the eligibility requirements to apply by May 20 to participate in the inaugural year of the program. Please visit our website for more details.
