Alpha Epsilon Pi is looking for new Jewish and Israeli philanthropy beneficiaries to benefit from the fundraising muscle of the International Fraternity’s 185 chapters around the world.

The Fraternity’s nearly 10,000 undergraduate Brothers will choose up to three new beneficiaries in voting to take place in January and February of 2020. Each AEPi Official Philanthropy Beneficiary will eventually receive up to $100,000 in funds raised by AEPi undergraduates.

In 2019, AEPi’s undergraduate Brothers selected three philanthropy beneficiaries: United Hatzalah of Israel, the Jaffa Institute and the Israel Cancer Research Fund.

Five years prior, the undergraduate Brothers of AEPi launched a $1,000,000 commitment to 10 Jewish and Israeli philanthropies. Brothers in nearly 185 chapters in six countries around the world raised funds through AEPi’s Official Philanthropy Program (OPP) to accomplish the goal. This was the single largest philanthropy project that the undergraduate students have ever undertaken.

The 10 beneficiaries, decided by the fraternity’s undergraduate Brothers, which received a $100,000 donation each were: BBYO, B’nai B’rith International’s Disaster Relief Program, Gift of Life, Heroes to Heroes Foundation, Israel Children’s Cancer Foundation, IDF Widows and Orphans Organization, Innovation: Africa, MadaTech Museum, Simon Wiesenthal Center, and Taglit-Birthright Israel.
