Sides agree to end Schechter Institute strike

The seven-week strike at the Schechter Institute for Jewish Studies ended Friday, the Jerusalem-based institution announced yesterday. “After intensive negotiations between management and workers, an agreement was signed on Friday, June 24 and the workers returned to work today,” management said in a statement. The summer semester will open as planned on July 3.
