S. Florida Community funds Initiative to tackle Campus Sexual Assault

The South Florida funds of the Jewish Women’s Funding Network have collaborated on a grant to benefit the South Florida Jewish community.

The Women’s Impact Initiative of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, the Jewish Women’s Foundation of the Greater Palm Beaches, the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Broward County, and the Jewish Women’s Foundation of South Palm Beach County, have awarded a grant to Jewish Women International to fund the program Change the Culture to be held on three college campuses in South Florida – University of Miami, Nova Southeastern University, and Florida Atlantic University, in partnership with University of Miami Hillel and the Hillel of Broward & Palm Beach.

Change the Culture is a multi-faceted program for Jewish students that tackles the epidemic of campus sexual assault with a goal of changing attitudes, supporting survivors, empowering women, and engaging men as allies.
