PEJE Launches New, One-of-a-Kind Webzine

The Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education (PEJE), in keeping with its sharpened focus on financial sustainability and affordability, has launched a new webzine. Sustained! Viable Jewish Day Schools for an Enduring Future is an innovative resource for day school professionals and volunteer leaders whose goal is to strengthen schools and advance the work of day school professionals.

The inaugural edition includes a video about the role of the head of school and fundraising; an article about the new “Generations” program – a collaborative effort whose goal is to launch multi-year endowment and legacy giving campaigns in selected communities; lessons learned about alumni giving; and a video showcasing some surprising faces of sustainability. Regular features include illustrated case studies; entertaining multimedia content; and essays about growing tuition, achieving affordability, increasing enrollment, and effective advocacy. PEJE intends to publish the webzine every other month, but content will also be added in-between editions.

You can find the webzine at sustained.peje.org.
