Pears Foundation has appointed Amy Braier as its new Director. Amy has been Deputy Director of Pears Foundation since 2007 and throughout that time has worked closely with Executive Chair Trevor Pears CMG and outgoing Director Charles Keidan to shape the foundation’s vision and partnerships.
Amy has assumed the post this week, following the departure of Charles Keidan who has left to take up a visiting position to research and teach about philanthropy at Stanford University’s Center on Philanthropy.
Amy will now be responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s grant-making, strategy and operations with a particular focus on higher education partnerships, Holocaust education and identity and citizenship education.
