One People, Many Visions: Taglit Birthright Israel Mega Event 2013

While winter storms pounded most of the country, over 3000 Taglit Birthright Israel participants gathered in Jerusalem Monday night to create their own storm at Taglit’s annual winter Mega Event. As to tradition, the rivalry between Argentina and Brazil continues to play out and the loudest applause of the evening went to the representatives of the Israel Defense Forces.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, long-time supporter Michael Steinhardt encouraged all to remember the moment – a once in a lifetime phenomenon of over 3000 young Jewish adults coming together to celebrate.
