North Bay Wildfires update from San Francisco Federation

As the wildfires in Sonoma and Napa counties continue to rage, there is great interest in updated, front-line information as the situation unfolds, and immediate ways that our community can help. Our Federation’s team on the ground has compiled numerous resources and information, and will continue to update this post and our Facebook page in the coming days (including through the holiday and the weekend) as new information arises. We are heartened by the immediate and front-line response provided by Congregation Shomrei Torah, IsraAID, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, URJ Camp Newman, Chabad and others, and they are appreciative of the tremendous outpouring of support.

The greatest need remains financial assistance. As we evaluate the damage with our community partners in the region, rest assured that all donations will reach those most in need. The generosity of our community will enable a robust and effective response both immediately and throughout the long recovery process.
