EdJewTopia Newsletter Highlights Complementary Jewish Education

The Partnership for Effective Learning and Innovative Education (PELIE) and Legacy Heritage Fund have created EdJewTopia, the first ever e-newsletter devoted to the field of complementary Jewish education. The creation of EdJewTopia marks the first time two major Jewish funding organizations have worked together to generate awareness about the important work being done in the industry.

EdJewTopia is designed to highlight the work being done by professionals and lay leaders in the arena; support educators and parents with new tools and resources; and inform the public about complementary Jewish education through one central channel.

The first edition of the e-newsletter realized a 45% open rate, which was encouraging to its developers. “People are eager for information about complementary Jewish education,” says Jane Slotin, executive director of PELIE. “It’s exciting and important that together as funders we provide one central channel making it easier for families and professionals to know what is happening in this rapidly changing field.”

The e-newsletter will be sent to subscribers at the beginning of every month. Each e-newsletter will have a theme and the next one will focus on technology.
