The Cleveland based Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation has pledged $25-million toward construction of a new downtown campus for Jerusalem’s Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. The gift is part of a $100 million capital campaign to develop a new 400,000 square foot building housing classrooms, studios, offices, auditoriums, an administrative area and various workshops.

The building will be located in the area know as the Russian Compound.
