Jewish Community of Japan Sets up Charitable Pipeline through CAFAmerica

CAFAmerica, a member organization of the United Kingdom based Charities Aid Foundation, is partnering with one of its ‘Friends of’ funds, the Jewish Community of Japan, to support JEN, a Japan-based NGO that focuses on international natural disaster and conflict relief.

Jewish Community of Japan is now taking donations that will go to support JEN. Information about the fund and the other CAFAmerica efforts to help victims of the Japan quake can be found at cafamerica.org.

about: CAFAmerica currently works with a number of international emergency response and relief organizations that are providing services and support for the communities impacted by this tragedy. These include the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Oxfam UK, Doctors Without Borders, Second Harvest Japan and Christian Aid. This list will be expanding as more of our organizations turn their focus to providing support.

Recognizing that any delay in reaching U.S. donors can create huge problems in terms of delivering urgently needed humanitarian aid in crisis situations, CAFAmerica also has “fast track” fund(s) available to aid foreign nonprofits.
