Foundation for Jewish Camp and Matisyahu Collaborate

Through a collaboration with the Foundation for Jewish Camp, this past Friday, the New Jersey Y Cedar Lake Camp was home to a free acoustic concert and Q & A by the American Jewish musician Matisyahu. Other Jewish camps in the area attended and the performance will be available to watch beginning Sunday, July 15th on the FJC website, jewishcamp.org

Matisyahu is a supporter of Jewish camps and plans to send his kids to one when they reach the right age, as he believes attending camp can be a pivotal part of the Jewish journey. “Jewish camp is a comfortable and accepting place for all children to explore their Jewish identity,” he says. “I am so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the empirical experience these kids are having this summer.”

In celebration of camp and this partnership, Matisyahu is offering all FJC campers a free download of his new single “Sunshine.”
