This is great info. Now I want to know how much of that is new donations and how much was already being donated through other means previously.

  2. Jenni,

Last year I donated about $3,500 though Facebook Causes to charities that I have never contributed to before. Given that most people contribute $25 etc I would suggest that those are new donations as well. The issues I have found with Causes is really from the Payment processor “Network for Good” they charge to many points for processing the payment, and it can take 45 days for a charity to receive a payment from Network for Good. Micro-philanthropy where things are going. Have a look at our cause on Facebook http://www.feed-israel.org
