Applications Open: Senior Educators Cohort: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education

M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education has announced that it has opened applications for the second cohort of its Senior Educators Cohort.

M² develops and provides training and research to advance the field of experiential Jewish education and invest in the growth of its educators.

The M² Senior Educators Cohort (SEC) is a selective international training program for experiential Jewish educators. Open to educators with at least five years of experience, SEC enables participants to articulate, refine and sharpen their practice by exposing them to theories and methods that serve as the foundations of experiential Jewish education.

The Senior Educators Cohort is a 10-month program that includes three immersive seminars as well as customized mentoring and coaching. Launched in November 2016, the inaugural cohort is comprised of a diverse group of thirty-one educators from North America, Israel, and Australia, working on campuses and in camps, youth movements, day schools, federations, synagogues, community agencies, foundations, and organizations dedicated to service learning, Israel education and community teen engagement.

The deadline to apply to Cohort 2 is February 23, 2017.

SEC is generously supported by the Maimonides Fund.
