The Rothschild Foundation (Hanadiv) Europe, in partnership with Limmud International, welcomes applications to participate in the 4th MATARA programme for European Jewish Youth Educators and Activists to take place from the 27th December 2014 to the 1st January 2015 at the Limmud UK conference.

Matara is a self-contained programme that takes place during Limmud with the following goals:

• To provide Jewish-themed learning and community analysis for youth and student leaders employed or active in centres of Jewish life across Europe
• To give participants an opportunity to network and be part of the largest conference of Jewish learning and culture in Europe
• To enhance the skills of participants to develop Jewish programming upon their return to their communities

Every morning at Limmud, Matara participants will attend sessions delivered by Steve Israel and Sonja Vilicic. After lunch, participants are encouraged to choose from any of the general Limmud lectures or activities they are interested in throught the rest of the day.

The Rothschild Foundation (Hanadiv) Europe will be sponsoring 20 places for young Jewish educators and community activists to attend the December 2013 Limmud Conference in the UK.
